Your Library Card

Getting a card, renewing materials, placing holds, etc.

Who can get a card?

Anyone who lives in the community over the age of eighteen may get a library card.  Those under the age of eighteen must have a parent sign and be responsible for the minor.

How to Get Your Card

To receive a library card one must provide 2 forms of ID:   

  • a valid photo ID (ex. Driver's License, State issued ID, passport, Military ID)
  • a current proof of address (ex. current mail, current utility bill, voter registration card, car/home insurances)  

The library provides one free card per person.  There is a $1.00 replacement fee for lost cards.

Borrowing Limits

All items are checked out for three-week periods.

There is a limit of 10 items that can be checked out at one time.

Placing Items on Hold

Items may be placed on hold in person, by phone, or online.

A limit of five items may be placed on hold.

Notification will be sent by phone, email, or text when the item is ready to be picked up.

Renewing Your Borrowed Items

Items may be renewed in person, by phone, or online.

Items may be renewed up to three times.

Library Fines

Late fees for all items are 10¢ per item per day.

Lost Items

Patrons are required to pay the replacement cost of lost items, plus a $5.00 processing fee.
